The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.
God is our strength and our salvation. For those who are in Jesus, He is always with us and always on our side. Never allow the devil’s lies to persuade you that God is against you and that He has turned His back on you. The devil’s plan is to separate you from the one place you can get help, the presence of God!
As a born-again Christian, you are a new creation, made righteous through the finished work of Jesus on the cross. That means that through accepting Jesus, you are justified before God. God remembers your sin no more, you are totally clean!
2 Corinthians 5:21
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”
As you realise who you are, that you are a member of the family of God, a son/daughter, you will grow in boldness and approach Him with confidence. Not knowing your position and how God sees you is one of the greatest causes of defeat in the Christian life. The Bible tells us that as a man thinks in his heart, so is he (Prov 23:7). How you act is directly linked to how you truly see yourself. Do you see yourself as a righteous son/daughter of the King or as an unworthy beggar with no standing?
2 Corinthians 6:18
“I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.”
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling.
But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
