The God of breakthrough

The God of the Bible is a God of power, deliverance and breakthrough. He is on your side and wants to turn your bad situations into good ones. God loves you with a huge love and all it takes to be rescued is for you to let Him in. God respects your free will, because without free will, there can’ be true love. Don’t hold onto your problems, give them to God, receive the gift of salvation through Jesus and see breakthrough in every area of your life!

Isaiah 54:17
No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.

Romans 8:31-32
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

God is on your side! He is ready, willing and able to deliver you from any problem you face.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Through the death of Jesus on the cross, you were saved from your sins, but not only that, there is much more:

John 3:16-17
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

The word “saved” at the end of John 3:17 is translated from the Greek word SOZO.

  • SOZO (definition):  I save, heal, preserve, make whole, rescue. Also to save, to keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction.

God is your healer, preserver and rescuer from danger and destruction. There is no situation that He is not powerful enough to save you from. The devil wants you to think that you are unique and that yours is the one situation that is beyond God’s help, this is a lie!

Isaiah 49:28-31
Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Jesus defeated the devil and took away his power over you. The devil can only catch you with lies and deceit, you need to be wise, through knowing the truth. You need to be born-again, through declaring Jesus as your Lord and believing that He died on the cross for your sins and rose again from the dead. You then need to renew your mind with the Word of God, replacing the lies of the world with His truth. Don’t perish because of your ignorance of how spiritual things work! (See Romans 10:8-13, Romans 12:2 & Hosea 4:6)

John 16:33
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Jesus warns that in this world, trouble will come your way. He then goes on to say that He has overcome and so you can be cheerful, you get everything that Jesus gets because you are in Him. You also get to overcome anything that comes your way!

1 John 4:17
Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

Romans 8:16-17
The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.
